What areas of mental health do you specialize in?
I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, and relational issues. I work with couples and/or individuals. I offer individual session for those ages 15 yrs and older. I offer Couple's counseling and family counseling.
What are your credentials?
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with training in the Gottman Method level 1 and an anxiety specialist. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach that is Client-Centered.
What are your rates for mental health counseling?
Fees: $125.00 - $225.00 per session.
Individual sessions:
$125 (50 - 55 min.) or $100 (40 - 45 min.)
Couple's sessions:
$175 (50-55 min.)​ or $225 (90 min.)
The rates are the same for in office or virtual appointments
Sliding fee may be available upon request.
What types of insurance do you accept?
I am currently not in network with insurance providers.
This is done so that you and I can decide what is best for you without interference from a third party provider.
This ensures your health information remains confidential. Your insurance company may provide out of network reimbursement for some of the cost of your appointment. Before scheduling, I recommend contacting your insurance company to find out what your out of network coverage is and how to file for reimbursement.
While I am do not work directly with insurance claims, I am able to provide a statement for you to submit to your insurance company for any out of network benefits that are available to you.
What questions to ask your insurance company?
Do I have out of network benefits? What is my out of network deductible and how much has been met? Does my plan cover counseling services (specific codes for individual sessions are: 90837 or 90834)? What do I need to do in order to receive reimbursement and how long do I have to submit documentation?
What forms of payment do you do you accept?
I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, as well as HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Savings Account) cards, check, or cash. Payment is required at time of service.
