About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping people cope with anxiety, depression, women's issues, stress, spiritual issues, self-esteem, trauma, and relationships.  As I work with my clients, I utilize evidenced based treatment that engages the person on a holistic level assessing the connection between physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual experiences. Before entering the field of mental health counseling, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in music education.  I marched in The Ohio State Marching Band and participated in many instrumental and choral ensembles.  After teaching for several years, I was a stay at home mom and became involved in mom's and women's groups.  I volunteered in prisons, juvenile detention centers, and recovery centers.  My experience helped me realize the great need for support in myself and others.  These experiences allowed  me to grow and progress into leadership roles where I discovered my passion for empowering people to live life to the fullest.  I use a non-judgemental, holistic approach exploring a person's emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual experience. If you have any questions about my methods, or would like to schedule a consultation, please get in touch today.
